1. About the Platform

Salon.Haus is designed to link independent beauty professionals ("Practitioners") with available salon spaces, chairs, rooms, booths and studios ("Spaces") in relevant locations. The Platform is a networking and classifieds showcase for independent advertisers and interested parties and you understand and acknowledge that all listings or users on the Platform are only being hosted on the Platform and are not owned or operated by us. To participate in the Platform, you must register as either a Practitioner or a Space Owner.

2. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy governs any personal information collected about you or that you provide to us. By using the Platform, you are also agreeing to our Privacy Policy.

3. Modification

We may in our absolute discretion change any or all of the Terms at any time by publishing new Terms on our website. Your continued use of our Platform constitutes your acceptance of any such new terms.

4. No Warranty as to Accessibility / Availability

We cannot and do not warrant or guarantee that content and links or any other information contained on or within our Platform, or that the Platform itself will be available and/or accessible to you at all times. We may need to suspend use of the Platform from time to time to undertake upgrades or for various other reasons at our sole discretion.

5. Third Party Content

We host content generated from our users, including Practitioners, Space Owners and other websites, advertisers, individuals or businesses unrelated to us ("Third Party or Third Parties"). We are not responsible for, do not endorse and make no representations either expressly or impliedly concerning content posted by Third Parties ("Third Party Content"). Third Party Content does not represent our views and you rely on Third Party Content completely at your own risk.

6. No Warranty as to Reliability and Accuracy

We cannot and do not warrant, guarantee or make any representations to you as to the accuracy, reliability, completeness or timeliness of the information contained in our Platform. In particular, we cannot and do not warrant that any representations made about Practitioners or Spaces are true, accurate or correct. It is your sole responsibility to use and interpret content in your absolute discretion and judgement.

7. Your Obligations and Restrictions

In accessing or using our Platform you agree, warrant and represent that you will not:

• Attempt to defraud, solicit money, passwords or personal information from any person by any means;
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation with us or another user;
• Attempt to disable, impair, interfere with or destroy the Platform;
• Transmit or attempt to transmit any virus, worm, defect or Trojan horse;
• Copy, modify, host, stream, sub-licence, sell or re-sell the Platform;
• Upload, share or use any information or content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, vulgar, hateful or discriminatory;
• Disrupt, interfere with or prohibit another user from accessing or using the Platform;
• Use the Platform in any manner that we, in our sole discretion, determine is unreasonable or not for its intended purpose;
• Act in violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

8. Copyright

Our Platform is copyright and is subject to the copyright laws of Australia. You must not use or index any content or data on our platform for purposes of compiling a competing database or for any other purpose we have not specifically authorised in writing.

9. User Accounts

You represent and warrant to us that you will keep your username, password and any other information or data that you use to access our Platform confidential and secure at all times. You accept all liability for any unauthorised use of your account. You may not share your account information or use an account that belongs to another person.

10. Rental Arrangements

Salon.Haus facilitates connections between Space Owners and Practitioners. We are not a party to any rental agreement formed between users of the Platform. All rental arrangements, agreements, payments and disputes are entirely between the Space Owner and the Practitioner. We strongly recommend that all rental arrangements be documented in a formal written agreement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Salon.Haus, including its related entities, directors, officers and agents, disclaim all liability and responsibility for any direct or indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by you or any other user through relying on anything contained in or omitted from our Platform, or arising from any rental arrangement facilitated through our Platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
